Got down to West mersea about 2pm and a few out on 4-4.5 and one monster overpowered on 5.5. Put the 4.7 on that was just about OK when flattened and had a great session. Top end powered most of the time and quite a few gybes came off which I was pretty pleased with bearing in mind the wind. Got used to setting the sail on the RDM, seeing the outhaul is a more useful tuning tool.
It was choppy most of the time but occasional smooth patch made me realise just how mcuh difference that made to speed. Best 250m run was 26.5knots.
